Things to do in New York City

Central Park

A must on every visit to New York City, Central Park offers the visitor everything. From a Zoo to rock concerts, museums to Shakespeare, baseball to ice skating, relaxation reigns supreme in this urban oasis.

Central Park was built Frederick Law Olmsted and architect Calvert Vaux, who also built Brooklyn's Prospect Park.

While the park appears to be a work of nature, it is actually almost entirely man-made. It has a number of small lakes, a wildlife sanctuary, a reservoir, a castle and limitless quiet areas to escape and of course playground for your children.
